A
Administrator
A content and user administrator, usually from the marketing department, who imports and updates presentable files for sales reps. An administrator also manages users, sends announcements, and consults advanced analytics. For more information, see User roles in Showpad on our Help Center.
Admin App
The administrator portal of Showpad where you can manage content, users, view analytics, send announcements, and configure additional features and integrations.
AppsDB
A key/value store built into Showpad Apps for persisting data with offline support, cross-platform access, and scope-based data protection.
Asset
An image, video, or other media file stored in Showpad. See Supported file types on our Help Center for a full list.
Assignment
A relation between a Showpad App version and an organization. This relation makes a version of an app available to designated organizations to install or update.
B
Bundle
A .showpad file that packages all of your app's extensions and resources for upload and distribution.
C
Collection
A personalized compilation of marketing-approved content that users can organize and present based on their prospects. For more information, see Create personal Collections with selected content on our Help Center.
Content
All files uploaded to Showpad.
D
Division
A way to structure an organization into independent regions, each with its own content and users. For more information, see Create and populate a user group on our Help Center.

Experience
A guided and interactive way to organize content for sales reps. Experiences create engaging conversations with prospects and customers.
Experience Apps (legacy)
Custom-developed sales applications used to create Experiences. These apps are unique to a single Showpad instance.
Extension type
Extension points that enable you to extend the Showpad platform. Multiple extension types can be bundled together within a single app. Six extension types are available:

Manifest
The manifest.json file that defines your Showpad App. It specifies the schema, app metadata, extension types, and data
stores. Every Showpad App must have one.
My Files
A personal content area where sales reps can upload their own files for sharing. Content is still trackable but not visible to administrators.
O
Online Platform (OP)
The legacy administrator portal of Showpad where you can manage content, users, view analytics, send announcements, and configure additional features and integrations.
Organization
An entity with a Showpad instance.
P
Partner Code
The unique identifier of an organization. Available in the Install App dialog under Showpad Apps in the Admin
Settings menu of the Admin App. Used as the organisationId when assigning a Showpad App via API.

Resources
The folder in your extension containing the source code for that extension. The entry point is the extension's
index.html.
S
Shared Spaces
A secure, collaborative space where users can invite external and internal people to view content, leave comments, and engage stakeholders in the sales process. Access is by invitation only.
Showpad Apps
Custom-developed applications assigned to organizations by developers and added to Showpad by administrators. These apps can be assigned to multiple Showpad instances.
Smart folder
A folder configured to automatically pull content matching specified criteria, such as file type, tags, or division source.

Tag
A label that admins add to content to make it easier to manage, find, and organize - particularly with Smart Folders.
Tag categories
Groupings of tags to help keep them organized.
U
User
Typically a sales rep who presents content with the Showpad app on a mobile device. Users share content with customers and prospects. For more information, see User roles in Showpad on our Help Center.
User group
A way to organize users in the Admin App. Groups control which Divisions and Experiences users have access to.
V
Version
A specific release of a Showpad App, following semantic versioning (major.minor.patch). A version must be assigned to
one or more organizations before users can install or update it.
